LILASH & LIBROW FAQ'S

is lilash And librow safe?

Yes! LiLash and LiBrow are physician-formulated serums that have been ophthalmologist tested, making them safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

HOW LONG DOES it take TO SEE RESULTS WITH LILASH or librow?

Used daily, lash growth can be seen in as little as 30-45 days, but in most cases it takes 45-60 days. How quickly you see results depends on where your lashes are in their natural growth cycle.

Brow growth takes a little longer. Used daily, you will see your brows filling out in 90 days.

You will see full results in 90 days. Patience is the key. Get into a daily routine, stick with it, you will be so pleased you did!!

After the initial 3 months application, when you’re happy with the length of your lashes. You can use every other day to maintain. If your lashes start looking shorter, go back to daily application for a while, to give them a boost.

How do I apply LILASH?

LILASH - Apply to dry, cleansed skin. Once a day is all you need, morning or night. We recommend adding it to your night time routine, but whichever is convenient for you.

Remove the applicator from the tube and wipe off excess serum, it’s very concentrated, a little goes a long way.

Apply LiLash directly to the upper eyelid skin along the lash line of each eye. Depending on how much excess serum you initially wiped off the brush, you may need to re-dip your brush for the second eye.

Do not apply to the lower eyelids or directly to lashes. Lilash is a serum, the results happen when it’s absorbed by the skin. Allow serum to dry for 2-3 minutes before applying any moisturiser.

If you have sensitive eyes or experience any sensitivity, apply 2-3 times a week for the first week.

HOW DO I apply LIBROW?

LIBROW - Apply to dry, cleansed skin. Once a day is all you need, morning or night. We recommend adding it to your night time routine, but whichever is convenient for you.

Remove the applicator from the tube and wipe off excess serum

Apply LiBrow along the brow line of each eye. Depending on how much excess serum you initially wiped off the brush, you may need to re-dip your brush for the second eye. Allow serum to dry for 2-3 minutes before going to bed.

Do not apply to eyelids or eyelashes.

Can I use LiLash OR lIbROW twice a day?

No, only use LiLash or LiBrow once a day. Applying more than once a day will not give any quicker results. Overusing our concentrated serum could cause irritation. Stick to once a day.

Can I use LiLash or librow during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding?

LiLash has not been tested in all situations; therefore we do not recommend using LiLash during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Can I use LiLash lash serum with eyelash extensions?

Yes! LiLash is the ideal companion for lash extensions. It’s oil free and safe to use with all extensions and glue. Lilash fortifies and strengthens lashes at the hair follicle. Promoting healthier longer, thicker lash growth with less natural breakage and loss. This allows you to enjoy your extensions longer. If desired, eyelash extension wearers can also transition to using LiLash alone.

Can I have a lash lift treatment whilst using lilash lash serum?

Yes! Lilash is great to use before a lash lift treatment and eyelash tint. LiLash fortifies and strengthens lashes at the hair follicle, promoting healthier lash growth and less natural breakage. This magnifies the effect of the lash lift and tint treatments. Following your treatment, it is advised to wait 24 hours before continuing with your lash serum.

CAN I USE a lash serum or brow serum AFTER CHEMOTHERAPY?

Yes! Many people turn to LiLash and LiBrow to help restore their lashes and brows after their treatment is finished. Healthcare professional advice is to wait 3 to 4 weeks after finishing chemo before starting the serums. We recommend using every other day for first 10 days, as skin may be more sensitive after Chemotherapy.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I STOP USING LILASH or librow?

LiLash and LiBrow are beauty treatments. Like any other skincare, continued use is necessary to maintain results. If discontinued, your eyelashes will gradually return to their length before use. Brows will gradually return to how they were before treatment. It is really easy to incorporate them into your daily beauty routine and once you see the results, you won’t want to be without.

A 1-2 week break is recommended every 3 months to allow your hair follicles to rest and re-stagger their growth pattern.

WILL LILASH CHANGE MY EYE COLOUR?

No. This is a risk factor associated with the ingredient called Bimatroprost, which LiLash and LiBrow do not contain. Lilash was developed in 2007. I have been a stockist since 2013. In that time, a change to the eye colour has never been reported.

WILL LILASH OR LIBROW AFFECT THE COLOUR OF SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP?

LiLash or LiBrow will not affect eyeliner or eyebrow colour used in semi-permanent makeup (Please make sure the skin has healed completely from the tattooing, prior to use).

WILL LIBROW DARKEN MY EYEBROWS?

LiBrow’s patented brow tint contains natural botanicals that gently darken your brows by enhancing the pigment of your natural hair colour. Expect your brows to be tinted 1 to 2 shades darker for beautifully enhanced definition.

WILL LILASH DARKEN THE SKIN ON MY EYE LIDS?

Some customers may experience a slight darkening on the upper lid with regular application. However, it is important to know that this is not harmful, or permanent.
